The nature of surfing

Have recently spent a few days down at the beach, and am living my surfing dreams vicariously through my son. He has recently turned into a philosopher of sorts, particularly when we were discussing him being dumped by a wave. His response was, ‘That’s just the nature of surfing, Dad!’.
